The Capital Region AFSP (American foundation for Suicide prevention) hosts events highlighting resources, and spreading awareness. In addition to fundraising for the important cause. I happily participated in the annual Hike for hope in 2024 and 2025. As well as the 2025 hike Away the Dark. The more awareness we spread the more we can hopefully reach those alone in crisis. As a 2025-2026 current member of SUNY’s Empire Service Corp- I get to uphold the values of: being prepared, present, thoughtful, creative, hold a safe space and assume the best, as I serve my community. For more information- https://www.suny.edu/student-experience/essc/  During 2025-2026 I served as an intern for Suny Schenectady Liberty Partnership Program supporting students in Mont Pleasant middle school, and the USDA hunger hotline, where I made resource referrals for individuals facing hunger crisis. 

I was deeply inspired by the heart, and care the Liberty Partnership program embodies everyday, and coordinated the first ever Resilience of whimsy Art show, and Fundraiser raising awareness for the program, as well as $1.368.45 in donations.

I’ve volunteered my time at Schenectady county public library annually from 2022 - 2025. Public Libraries are very important community spaces. I encourage you to see how you can get involved with your local library! In 2026, I become a part of Friends of SCPL For more information Friends of SCPL
